The most popular video game in the world has officially opened a brand new chapter in its history, as it is now offering a half life version of its iconic hero.
The Half Life sequel, Half Life: Opposing Force, launched in 2014 for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
This year, Valve announced a Half Life 3, a half-life sequel that will be released for the Oculus Rift headset and the HTC Vive headset, which is currently the most popular VR headset for consumers.
This new Half Life game was officially announced by Valve in an interview with IGN, which also reveals that Valve will be releasing a new Half-Life 2 game every year for the next two years.
“Every year we will have two new Half Lifes that will launch on both platforms,” Valve founder Gabe Newell said.
“And we are going to keep going.
The next two Half-Lifes are going live this year, and the third one will come out this year.”
The new Half life game will follow the story of Agent Jack Bauer, a man who has been given a task to stop the end of the world, while attempting to stop a man called Jack the Ripper from murdering as many people as possible.
He is tasked with tracking down the killer to find the man responsible for the murders.
As a Half-life 2 player, you will play as Jack, who must save his girlfriend and his daughter from a group of ruthless psychopaths who want to end the world.
While you play the game, you can take on different characters and face off against other players, and can also pick up new weapons and weapons accessories.
The new version of the Half-lives will launch for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2020.
The PC version will launch in 2022.
